Arts Book Reviewer (Freelance, Part-Time, 6 month opportunity)
Are you passionate about art and literature? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a way with words? We're seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as freelance arts book reviewers!
The right candidate will receive the most recent, newly released high-quality art books from major publishers like Thames & Hudson, Phaidon, Taschen and more - all worth hundreds and yours to read, review and keep.
About the Role
As a freelance arts book reviewer, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the latest publications from renowned art publishing houses and share your insights with our audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Read, analyse and understand context of art books from various genres, periods and artists
- Write engaging, thoughtful, and well-structured reviews
- Meet deadlines and editorial standards by following guidelines and timelines
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in art and publishing
Qualifications
- Strong writing skills with an engaging style
- An interest in all things related to art and art history
- Previous experience in content writing, or arts journalism (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
