Moku Art Studio and MANGO have partnered for the Ocean Virtual Artist Residency. This collaborative program empowers participating artists to embark on the journey of developing a new project aligned with the residency’s thematic focus: OCEAN

Dive into a transformative creative experience from March to April 2025. This residency offers a unique opportunity to develop your artistic projects, connect with a global community of artists, and share your work with an international audience.

What’s in store:

Virtual Mentorship: Participate in five virtual sessions with experienced mentors from Moku Art Studio and @mangoresidencia.
Theme Exploration: Develop your projects inspired by the theme of the Ocean, exploring a wide range of approaches—technical, conceptual, reflective, and experiential.
Creative Development: Receive insightful feedback and guidance to refine your ideas, techniques, and creative vision.
Global Exposure: Showcase your work at a Virtual Open Studio and Exhibition Inauguration, connecting with art enthusiasts and fellow creators from around the world.

The Connecting Artists Programme is a national programme designed for adult visual artists, who want to take the next step to develop their creative practice, exhibit, and sell their work.

The mission through the Connecting Artists Programme is to specifically support adult artists who face challenges or barriers in accessing formal and informal art education and supports.

Who should apply

The national application open call is available to artists who identify as neurodivergent or who have an intellectual disability.
The programme is open to artists from all 32 counties of Ireland, including both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
This programme is currently open for 2D artwork, such as painting, drawing, and collage. Photography is not currently accepted.
Each year, they select 10 talented artists from across Ireland to participate in a 10-week online programme aimed at enriching their artistic journey and preparing them for a national exhibition in the RCSI.

This online programme provides a safe environment supported by skilled facilitators. Within this immersive and nurturing environment, participants have the opportunity to explore their artistic expression through demonstrations, workshops, and peer engagement.

With the dedicated support of the Connections Arts Centre team, artists gain insights into essential areas of professional development, enhancing their skills and confidence. The programme gives them opportunities to share their skills leading workshops and talks. Throughout the process each artist is paired with mentors, who provide individual support.

How to Apply

The Connecting Artists 2025 programme will culminate with a Summer exhibition at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. This provides a unique opportunity for artists to connect in person, showcase their exceptional work, and achieve greater visibility within the arts community.

Artist applications close Friday 31st January 2025, with the programme beginning in March 2025 (date TBD)

– One of these three exhibiting artists will be invited to present their first international solo exhibition in 2026 at Southwark Park Galleries, London. The selected artist will be paid a fee of £2,000 GBP and a contribution of £4,000 GPB towards production costs.

Temple Bar Gallery + Studios in partnership with Culture Ireland and Southwark Park Galleries, London,invites applications to Faigh Amach (Discover), an international exhibition opportunity in 2025/2026.

Faigh Amach (Discover) is a new initiative by Temple Bar Gallery + Studios (TBG+S), Dublin, in partnership with Culture Ireland and Southwark Park Galleries, London, to support an artist in presenting their first international solo exhibition.

Three artists will be selected from the open call to participate in a group exhibition at TBG+S, 31 July — 21 September 2025. Each selected artist will receive €2,000 EUR in an artist fee; up to €2,000 EUR in a production stipend; and curatorial, institutional and marketing support. The exhibiting artists will further be supported by TBG+S in the participation in public engagement programmes.

One of these three exhibiting artists will be invited to present their first international solo exhibition in 2026 at Southwark Park Galleries, London. The selected artist will be paid a fee of £2,000 GBP and a contribution of £4,000 GPB towards production costs. Transport, installation, exhibition opening costs, documentation and other related exhibition costs will be paid by Southwark Park Galleries with contributions from TBG+S and Culture Ireland.

This opportunity is for visual artists living in the 32 counties in Ireland or Irish artists living abroad who have not yet had a solo international exhibition or major exhibition outside of Ireland.
