Business to Arts is delighted to announce that applications are now open for the Fundraising Fellowship Ireland programme 2024, in partnership with the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
The programme provides two cultural organisations with 50% part-funding to hire a Fundraising or Fundraising & Marketing Fellow, as well as engage in a structured professional development programme delivered by Business to Arts.
Cultural organisations interested in building team capacity with a new fundraising role and participating in an 18-month capacity-building programme are encouraged to apply before the deadline on November 22nd.
The Fellow will attend regular seminars and benefit from ongoing mentoring, which will enhance their proposal-writing and pitching skills, develop fundraising and communication strategies, and leverage the expertise of their boards to broaden their network.
For Business to Arts and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, the overall objective of the Fundraising Fellowship Ireland is:
- to continue and enhance prior investment by national and regional cultural organisations in the development of fundraising roles and related capacity-building
- to help develop the long-term sustainability of arts/cultural organisations, based on business-minded planning and fundraising strategy
- To nurture the next generation of arts fundraisers in Ireland
